Deputy Director of the Odesa Aviation Plant fined for abuse and forgery of documents

Vitaliy Kudin, Deputy Director for Production of LLC "Odesa Aviation Plant", admitted his guilt in entering false data into the aviation equipment testing protocols.

The falsified documents allowed the transfer of technically non-compliant equipment to the client, the Central Directorate for Aviation and Air Defence Support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, due to the use of defective parts.

Due to Kudin’s actions, the enterprise suffered losses of 193,000 UAH, including expenses for salaries, fuel, and business trips. A plea agreement was reached with the special prosecution in the defence sector of the Southern region.

The court sentenced Kudin to 1 year of probation supervision, a fine of 34,000 UAH, and an additional fine of 8,500 UAH. In addition, he was deprived of the right to hold management positions at the testing station for a period of 1 year and 6 months.
