In the Rada, the possibility of blocking mobile communication during drone attacks is being considered, — Venislavskyi
The authorities have not yet made a decision on blocking mobile communication during Russian attacks, MP Venislavskyi reported.
According to him, Russians use Ukrainian mobile communication stations to clarify coordinates, and this issue remains unresolved.
"There is an opinion that technically it is possible to simply block Ukrainian SIM cards used by the enemy. However, there is another point of view that such blocking will not bring the desired result because these cards can be activated remotely, they quickly verify, and after that, disconnection no longer makes sense," he explained.
Venislavskyi added that the necessary expertise needs to determine whether it is possible to identify SIM cards used by the enemy. If this turns out to be impossible, there is a possibility of disconnecting mobile communication "in waves" in the zones of drone flights.
