Zelenskyy has appointed Svitlana Zalishchuk as the Ambassador of Ukraine to Sweden

On Monday, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed former member of parliament Svitlana Zalishchuk as Ambassador of Ukraine to Sweden.

The corresponding decree No. 556/2025 was published on the website of the Presidential Office.

According to the text of the presidential decree, Svitlana Zalishchuk was appointed "Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Sweden."

Svitlana Zalishchuk previously worked as a journalist, and from 2014 to 2019, she was a member of parliament. Before her appointment, she held the position of freelance advisor at the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.
