Zelenskyy announced the expansion of the "Contract 18-24" program to attract workers with drones

The "Contract 18-24" program will be expanded again. Ukraine plans to recruit people for work with drones.

This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his evening address.

According to him, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yuliya Svyrydenko, informed him about a series of project decisions regarding financing and defense programs.

This includes, in particular, changes to the state budget to ensure all necessary payments to Ukrainian military personnel and the families of fallen defenders. Zelenskyy clarified that there are certain details that require legislative resolution, and he expressed hope that the Verkhovna Rada would support the relevant decisions.

The president also noted that the government has already prepared the expansion of the contract program for the 18-24 age category. According to him, the program aims to recruit motivated individuals for work with drones. It is to be presented by Svyrydenko.
