"The Russians will continue trying to buy time, but they will cover it with ideas like ’a ceasefire in the air’, but not on the ground, as reported by Western media," wrote the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, Andriy Kovalenko.

"In fact, this is a trap, as there is no intention to stop the war behind it. On the contrary, the Russians intend to continue it and ensure that they avoid painful strikes deep into Russia, as well as the paralyzed air traffic—this, I believe, is our most successful action, as it paralyzes both civilian aviation and cargo logistics, which depend on airport operations.

Many will say - but they also strike. It’s important to understand the efficiency of the strikes here. Russia scares civilians, but their air strikes achieve military targets with a very low percentage. Our actions are more precise and successful.

Therefore, Russia wants an air pause to accumulate many resources to resume strikes at a moment that suits them. And to avoid sanctions now, continuing the war on the ground.

What’s important should be a complete ceasefire and a meeting of leaders. Everything else is maneuvers by the Russians, which should not be allowed and must be immediately blocked by sanctions," Kovalenko concluded.
