HACC left Pavlo Kyrylenko in the position of AMCU head, — CPC

The High Anti-Corruption Court denied the prosecutor’s request to remove the head of the Antimonopoly Committee, Pavlo Kyrylenko. The basis for the motion was the assumption that the official might influence participants in the criminal proceedings.

Nevertheless, the court again obligated the accused to:

• appear when summoned by the court, investigators, or prosecutors;
• inform about any change of residence;
• surrender foreign passports;
• not leave the borders of Ukraine;
• avoid contact with witnesses.

The restrictions will be in place for two months. The decision was made by a panel of judges consisting of Nataliya Movchan, Kateryna Sikora, and Olena Chernova.

Kyrylenko is accused of illegal enrichment of more than 72 million UAH and submitting false information in a declaration.
