In the night leading to August 17, explosions were heard in the Voronezh region. Drones attacked railway infrastructure.

This was reported by Russian media and the governor of the Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev.

In one of the municipalities of the Voronezh region, a worker involved in assembling tracks at a railway station was injured due to a drone attack. He was taken to a district hospital.

As a result of falling drone debris, power lines at the railway station were damaged, and the movement of several trains was delayed. Later, the movement was restored.

According to local residents, drones attacked the Liski railway station. In the same area, a fire broke out in a store and at a market square. In another area, a gas pipe caught fire.
