The number of "Shaheds" has sharply decreased: Russia has reduced drone strikes on Ukraine by almost threefold
In the context of negotiations between the USA and Russia, the number of "Shahed" drones launched by Russia has noticeably decreased.
According to today’s summary from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukraine was attacked by 60 drones, with strikes targeting "frontline areas of Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Dnipropetrovsk regions."
A similar situation is observed on other days in August. This month, the number of launched "Shahed" drones exceeded one hundred only four times. On other days, the number was lower—ranging from 40 to 80 drones.
On average, in the current, still ongoing month of August, Russia launches about 74 drones per day. For comparison, in July, it was over 200 "Shahed" drones daily (more than six thousand per month).
