AFU officer under the callsign «Alex» refutes claims that the AFU on the Dobropillya direction are liberating settlements from «small groups of Russian infantry».

«I do not support the optimistic sentiments regarding the counteroffensive actions of the SOF units on the Dobropillia direction, as some media are already spreading information as if we have surrounded the Russians, that they are retreating, and that their situation is almost critical», – he wrote.

According to him, similar statements about «small groups» were made when the AFU eliminated a breakthrough in the direction of Novovodyane.

«But in reality, it turned out that our guys were liberating settlements from several hundred Russians, and there was even some equipment; initially, the breakthrough was indeed by small groups, but no one mentioned that the Russians actively started deploying infantry there», – added «Alex».

«Overall, at the moment, a similar situation has developed with the exaggeration of the truly successful actions of the SOF units on this direction, although in reality, not everything is so rosy. Clearing operations are underway, there are successes, but it will be a real stroke of luck if we return to approximately the previous lines, although I am confident that such a misstep will not go unnoticed, and some protrusion will remain», – the military officer wrote.
