Russian pharmaceutical holding sold medicines in Ukraine during the war through front companies
A scheme for the illegal import of Russian medicines worth 260 million UAH has been uncovered in Ukraine.
The organizer was a member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences and the owner of a pharmaceutical holding in Russia. In the 2000s, he established a subsidiary company in Ukraine, registering it under the names of straw persons.
After the start of the full-scale invasion, the enterprise did not close but instead disguised its activities and continued to sell medications from Russia. The revenue amounted to over 270 million UAH, with part of the funds being transferred to the accounts of Russian companies.
