In the Donetsk region, the evacuation of individuals with limited mobility continues: thousands of people are already safe
In the Donetsk region, evacuation continues daily, including for people with limited mobility.
The head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, reported on the progress of the evacuation.
"We are helping residents with limited mobility from Donetsk relocate to safer regions, where they are provided with care and support," the report states.
It is noted that only this week, 4 evacuation trips were organized:
- residents of the Pokrovsk community are already in the Lviv region;
- people from the Dobropillya and Bilozerske communities are in the Zhytomyr region;
- 20 people with limited mobility have found refuge in the Kyiv region;
- another 52 are in geriatric institutions in Kyiv region, where they will receive constant care.
It is reported that in total, more than 7,000 residents of Donetsk region who require special care are now safe.
"Every day, new people with limited mobility arrive at the shelter in Pavlohrad. Here they are registered, provided with necessary assistance, and prepared for further relocation to safer regions. Evacuation teams accompany them and help with luggage, and each person is provided with a separate seat in the evacuation carriages," added Filashkin.
