The invaders are introducing a new mandatory subject on "Russian values" in the schools of occupied Luhansk region

From 2026, an additional subject will be introduced for students in the occupied Luhansk region.

This was reported by the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Oleksiy Kharchenko.

According to him, they will study the "spiritual and moral culture of Russia."

"This subject will be included in the list of mandatory subjects in every general education institution. It is planned to be part of the curriculum for grades 5-7. The textbook is currently being developed in collaboration with representatives of the Russian church," Kharchenko stated.
