Military observer explained how the AFU use the "strategic regrouping" of the RF in Sumy region
According to military observer Bohdan Miroshnykov, the advancement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Sumy region is related to the fact that Russian troops are being redeployed from this region to other directions.
According to his information, the troops from the north are mainly moving to the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhya regions, and some units are being directed towards the Kupyansk and Borivske directions. He describes this as a "strategic regrouping."
"At this time, our soldiers are trying to improve positions wherever possible. In the Sumy region, of course, we have successes, and there may be more, as the enemy has withdrawn almost 70% of its reserves and 20% of its main forces. Thus, on a global scale, the enemy is preparing for the autumn campaign, which may begin in a few weeks, without relinquishing the current pace of offensive actions," writes Miroshnykov.
He assumes that the main offensives of the Russian Federation will be directed at Pokrovsk, Siversk, Lyman, Kupyansk, Kostyantynivka, and Orikhove, "and then it will follow the ’old scheme’—wherever they manage to break through the defence, that’s where the main efforts will be concentrated."
