The party "Our Land," which is the successor of the pro-Russian "Party of Regions," has announced its self-dissolution.

This is stated in a message published on the party’s website on Wednesday, August 27.

"The extraordinary 40th congress of the political party ’Our Land’ made the decision to dissolve the party. We have reached this difficult but mature and politically responsible step for a number of reasons," the party’s message states.

"Our Land" stated that despite the Supreme Court’s permission to resume its activities, the party suffered "critical reputational damage." The party interpreted the Ministry of Justice’s lawsuit to the court as "officials seeking hype." The party also stated that its politicians have a pro-Ukrainian stance and consider it unacceptable "for a few traitors or collaborators to cast a shadow of distrust on the entire organization."

The message also added that the organization had 10,000 party members and almost 1,700 local council deputies representing "Our Land."

In conclusion, the party declared that all remaining funds in the political force’s accounts would be transferred to the needs of the Ukrainian army. However, the party did not specify the amount in question.

Let us recall that on June 19, 2022, the panel of judges of the Eighth Administrative Court of Appeals decided to ban the activities of the pro-Russian political party "Our Land" in Ukraine. However, on July 1, 2025, the Supreme Court overturned this ban and recognized the activities of the party "Our Land" as lawful.

It should be noted that in June 2022, the Security Service of Ukraine arrested leaders of the party "Our Land" for a bribe from an entrepreneur, whom they promised to include on the electoral list and support in their further political career for 2.5 million US dollars.

The political party "Our Land" was registered on August 23, 2011, under the name "Bloc Party" and was renamed "Our Land" in 2014. The party promoted Russian narratives, and some politicians from this political force sided with the occupiers in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

As of 2021, the party was headed by three co-chairs – Oleksandr Mazurchak, Anton Kisse, and Serhiy Shakhov.
