Sybiha sharply reacted to the entry ban imposed by the Hungarian side on the commander of the Ukrainian unit
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sybiha, responded extremely harshly to Hungary’s decision to ban the entry of the commander of a Ukrainian military unit responsible for the attack on the "Druzhba" pipeline.
The minister wrote about this on Thursday on the social network X.
Earlier that day, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó announced that in response to Ukraine’s latest strike on the "Druzhba" pipeline, the Hungarian government decided to ban entry to the commander of the military unit responsible for this attack.
Sybiha criticized the publication in which Szijjártó announced this decision and called Ukraine’s actions an "attack on Hungary’s sovereignty."
"How shameless to publish such a thing after the brutal attack by the terrorist state of Russia. Péter, if a Russian pipeline is more important to you than Ukrainian children killed by Russia this morning, it’s a moral decline. Hungary is on the wrong side of history," Sybiha wrote.
He added that Ukraine would take reciprocal measures regarding the entry ban.
