Strikes on FSB facilities in Crimea were carried out with "Flamingo" cruise missiles
The strike on the FSB outpost and patrol boats in Crimea near Armyansk is the result of the work of new "Flamingo" cruise missiles, not "Neptune".
After the news of the FSB object strike in Crimea was published, military sources clarified to Militarnyi that the fire strike was carried out by "Flamingo" cruise missiles, not "Neptune" cruise missiles, as mistakenly reported by the Astra publication.
The strike itself was carried out on the morning of August 30, 2025, and the video of this massive salvo against targets in the enemy-controlled territory was published in the Telegram channel "Nikolaevsky Vanyok".
The footage captured a triple launch from the Ukrainian coast at sunrise: the missiles lifted into the air one after the other with the help of solid-fuel boosters and headed towards the target.
New open low-resolution satellite images from the Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem confirm the strike on the object.
According to them, the main building of the outpost was destroyed, and the surrounding area was also affected by the fire, but due to the low resolution of the images, it is impossible to accurately assess the scale of the destruction.
According to the Astra publication, which mistakenly attributed this attack to "Neptune" cruise missiles, the attack damaged six hovercraft patrol boats and killed one serviceman.
It is not reported which specific boats were hit. However, it is known that the FSB border units in northern Crimea use "Khivus" A-8 project hovercraft, capable of transporting up to eight landing troops, and A25PS, with a capacity of 30-50 people.
This attack was part of a combined strike on Crimea, during which Mi-8 and Mi-24 helicopters were destroyed at Simferopol airport.
