RF strike on Kyiv kills three-month-old boy and his mother
As a result of Russia’s strike on Kyiv on the night of September 7, 32-year-old Viktoriya Hrebenyuk and her three-month-old son Roman were killed. The boy’s father sustained severe injuries.
Viktoria worked at the charitable organization "100% Life. Kyiv Region," as reported by the project "They Were Killed by Russia." According to neighbors, the family had recently purchased an apartment in the building that was hit by the Russian army.
The mother and her infant were thrown out of a sixth-floor window due to the impact of a "Shahed" drone.
What is known about Viktoriya Hrebenyuk
Viktoriya Hrebenyuk was killed along with her young son Roman. An enemy drone struck their building in the middle of the night.

"My dear friend, I can’t believe it, you had just achieved the life you dreamed of, a family, a husband, a little son. This shouldn’t have happened. I love you so much. Today, my Vika died along with her two-month-old son. Vika, who loved life and people more than anything, was killed by the damned Russians, a direct hit on their building," – wrote Viktoria’s friend Maryna Novak on Facebook.

According to another acquaintance of the deceased, Yuliya Melnyk, Viktoriya was "an incredibly kind, decent, and wonderful person."

"It’s hard to find words because tears flood my eyes from the injustice and helplessness. I will never forget her support, wise guidance, sense of humor, and professionalism. May Viktoriya and her little son Roman rest in peace. Strength to their loved ones to endure this loss," – wrote Yuliya.

"These are neighbors from our entrance. They recently bought an apartment. A woman with a small child... They were thrown out of the sixth floor, apparently through the fifth, to the other side under a slab. Along with the slab. It’s horrific..." – shared one of Viktoria’s neighbors.
Another neighbor, Ms. Lyudmyla, moved into this building after the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant disaster. She said that Viktoria’s family had renovated their apartment after moving in.
"They arrived, recently bought the apartment, did renovations. She was pregnant. She gave birth. And then they were thrown out of the sixth floor. What a horror. ... These are ’Chornobyl’ buildings, we are from Pripyat. This is like a second war for us," – she said.
