Situation on the front line: The enemy does not cease attempts to advance deeper into the territory of Ukraine

Today, since the beginning of this day, 118 combat engagements have taken place. Ukrainian defenders are resolutely repelling the enemy’s attempts to advance deep into our territory, inflicting fire damage on them.

This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian Shelling and Airstrikes

Today, Russian forces launched three missile strikes and 50 airstrikes, using 16 missiles and dropping 88 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, 2,362 kamikaze drones were deployed, and 3,365 shelling attacks were carried out on our troops’ positions and populated areas.

Combat Operations in the North

In the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Ukrainian soldiers repelled nine assault actions by the occupiers. Furthermore, the enemy conducted 13 airstrikes, dropping 36 guided bombs, and carried out 211 shelling attacks on our troops’ positions and populated areas, including six with multiple launch rocket systems.

Combat Operations in Kharkiv Region

In the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy assaulted the positions of our units 12 times in the areas of Vovchansk, Ambarne, and Kamianka. Two engagements are still ongoing.

In the Kupyansk direction, the aggressor conducted offensive actions near Kupiansk and towards Pishchane. Ukrainian defenders stopped four enemy attacks.

Combat Operations in the East

In the Lyman direction, Russian invaders attacked the positions of the Defence Forces 13 times near the settlements of Karpivka, Hrekivka, Serednie, and towards Drobysheve, Shandryholove, and Derylovo. Fighting continues in four locations.

In the Siversk direction, the Defence Forces repelled eight enemy attacks near Serebryanka, Hryhorivka, and towards Yampil and Siversk.

In the Kramatorsk direction, three combat engagements have been recorded so far. The enemy attempted to advance near Orikhovo-Vasylivka and towards Stupochky and Minkivka.

In the Toretsk direction, the Russians launched seven assaults on the positions of Ukrainian units in the areas of Poltavka, Shcherbynivka, and towards Pleshchiivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have attempted to advance on the positions of Ukrainian units 34 times. The enemy attacked positions in the areas of Novoekonomichne, Rodynske, Myroliubivka, Pokrovsk, Zvirove, Promin, Lysivka, Udachne, Dachne, Novoukrainka, and towards Novopavlivka. Three engagements are still ongoing.

According to preliminary data, today in this direction, 90 occupiers were neutralized, of which 54 were irrecoverable losses. Additionally, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed one tank, six units of automotive equipment, and one unit of special equipment, as well as one UAV control point; they also damaged two artillery pieces, three units of automotive equipment, and nine shelters for enemy personnel.

Combat Operations in the South

In the areas of Komyshuvakha, Zelenyi Hai, Oleksandrohrad, and towards Ivanivka, Sosnivka, and Filiia. One engagement is ongoing.

In the Hulyaipole direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions.

In the Orikhiv direction, the Defence Forces repelled three attacks by the invaders in the area of Plavni and towards Stepnohirsk and Novodanylivka. Airstrikes targeted Novopavlivka and Shcherbaky.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions. The aggressor’s aviation carried out an airstrike in the area of the settlement of Antonivka.

In other directions – no significant changes.

Today, it is worth noting the soldiers of the 140th Separate Reconnaissance Battalion of the Marine Corps, who are effectively destroying the enemy, inflicting significant losses on them in personnel and equipment.
