"The president was hunting me": blogger Voloshyn has issued new nonsense about his persecution

Scandalous blogger Oleksandr Voloshyn, who was accused in 2024 of stealing money collected for the restoration of the children’s hospital "Okhmatdyt" after a Russian missile strike, has once again decided to justify his escape abroad. As the internet figure stated, he was allegedly persecuted in Ukraine, so he could no longer stay in the country.

Moreover, according to Voloshyn, due to problems in his homeland, his mental state severely deteriorated, leading him to start using drugs. The blogger made these loud statements in an interview with Vasyl Tymoshenko.

On the cover of the "sensational" video about the "oppression" of the internet figure, the phrase "The president was hunting me" was placed.

Who "helped" Voloshyn leave the country

As the blogger recounted, when information began to spread widely online that he had allegedly stolen money for the hospital’s restoration, he encountered serious issues with certain military personnel and the SSU. Oleksandr Voloshyn went to his parents in Berdychiv, when suddenly a man contacted him, promising to resolve all his troubles. The internet figure initially hesitated about meeting with him but eventually did so.

According to the blogger, the man who offered to help was a politician. He allegedly arranged a meeting between Voloshyn and a former general, who is now just a lawyer. As the blogger noted, at that point, he began to realize that his problems were unlikely to be resolved.

What was "demanded" from the blogger

According to Oleksandr Voloshyn, he later met with representatives of the Center for Countering Disinformation. The blogger remarked that the conversation was quite difficult, and they allegedly tried to "create problems" for him.

"It gets to the point where they ask me: ’How much did you raise for Okhmatdyt?’ I say five million. And they respond: ’Well, you’ll raise that much for us.’ For ’Alpha’ (a special unit of the SSU. – Ed.)," the blogger revealed.

According to sources, there were no employees of the Center for Countering Disinformation present during the conversation with the influencer.

Later, the politician who had intended to help the internet figure began making strange requests. He asked for 3 million hryvnias to be given to a doctor from "Okhmatdyt" for a specific medication. At that moment, the blogger realized he had been pulled into some kind of scheme.

Moreover, Voloshyn even began to think that his problems started on orders "from above." The blogger concluded that he had become an "important" figure, and that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had allegedly ordered him to be "removed." Because of this, the internet figure became frightened and even thought he might be imprisoned. This ultimately influenced his decision to flee Ukraine.

Drug use

All these events directly affected Oleksandr Voloshyn’s condition. He admitted to starting to use various narcotic substances: marijuana, sometimes cocaine, and mushrooms.

"The more you run, the more it accumulates. As soon as you come off the weed, you immediately return to this negativity, and you can’t stay there, so you go back to the weed. Then there comes a moment when, even under the influence of weed, this negativity catches up with you, and there’s nowhere left to run – you start looking for other ways, like mushrooms," the blogger noted.

However, over time, the internet figure realized he had become addicted. Now, he has given up drugs and is enjoying life.

Scandals with Voloshyn

In 2024, the blogger released a 45-minute video justification, where he explained his decision to leave the country. Voloshyn talked about all his charitable deeds and added that he was unfairly labeled a "traitor" and constantly received threats. Later, the internet figure informed his audience that he had relocated to Spain, where he plans to open a sole proprietorship (FOP).

"If a leader comes who will genuinely start changing the system, I think I’ll return and help however I can, but at the same time, my children will live in Europe or America," the blogger stated.

Later, journalist Ramina Eshakzai reported that the police had taken up Oleksandr Voloshyn’s case. According to the interviewer, law enforcement is working with evidence of the blogger’s lies, which she gathered during her own investigation.
