Situation on the front: AFU repelled over 200 Russian attacks

The 1,296th day of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. In total, 205 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Yesterday, the enemy launched two missile strikes and 69 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, using 44 missiles and dropping 120 guided bombs. Additionally, 5,965 kamikaze drones were deployed for attacks, and 4,578 shelling attacks were carried out on our troops’ positions and populated areas, including 91 from multiple launch rocket systems. The aggressor conducted air strikes, particularly in the areas of Krasnyi Khutir in Chernihiv Oblast; Zaliznychne and Orikhiv in Zaporizhzhya region.

In the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, seven combat engagements were recorded over the past day. The enemy carried out 15 air strikes, dropping a total of 32 guided aerial bombs and conducting 204 artillery shelling attacks, including 10 from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, 16 combat engagements took place in the areas of Vovchansk, Ambarne, and Odradne.

In the Kupyansk direction, four enemy attacks were recorded over the day. Defence forces repelled enemy assaults in the areas of Myrne, Kupiansk, and Borivska Andriivka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 27 times, attempting to advance in the areas of Hrekivka, Serednie, Kolodiazi, Stavky, Torske, and Shandryholove.

In the Siversk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of the Defence Forces 20 times in the areas of Serebrianka, Hryhorivka, and in the direction of Vyimka and Dronivka.

Over the past day, seven combat engagements occurred in the Kramatorsk direction in the areas of Bila Hora, Maiske, and in the directions of Stupochky and Predtechyne.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy conducted 16 attacks in the areas of Shcherbynivka, Oleksandro-Kalynove, Kleban-Byk, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, Poltavka, and in the direction of Berestok and Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders halted 57 enemy attacks in the areas of Volodymyrivka, Vilne, Zolotyi Kolodyaz, Nove Shakhove, Kotlyne, Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Promin, Lysivka, Novoekonomichne, Myroliubivka, Zvirove, Udachne, Dachne, and Novoukrainka.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the Defense Forces repelled 31 enemy assaults in the areas of Filiia, Oleksandrohrad, Maliivka, Komyshuvakha, Olhivske, Tolstoi, Piddubne, Novoivanivka, and in the direction of Ivanivka.

In the Hulyaipole direction, the enemy launched one offensive on the positions of our defenders in the area of Bilohiria.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy conducted two offensive actions towards Plavni and Stepnohirsk, but was repelled.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Ukrainian units repelled two enemy attacks towards Antonivka and Sadove. In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groupings were detected.

Our soldiers are inflicting significant losses on the occupation forces in manpower and equipment, actively undermining the aggressor’s offensive potential in the rear. Yesterday, the aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defence Forces struck two command posts, an artillery system, and an area of personnel concentration.
