The public channel states that currently, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are attempting to liberate the settlement, but Russian military personnel have taken positions in houses, basements, cellars, and other locations.

«Intense fighting is ongoing in the settlement at the moment», – it is noted in the channel.

DS suggests that «increased activity can be expected in the area of the settlement, which they are trying to capture, realizing its significance and importance for all eastern positions».

It is worth emphasizing that the capture of Yampil by Russian forces will cut off important communications of Ukrainian units located east of Yampil and north of the Siverskyi Donets.
