The Verkhovna Rada has passed a law on the creation of the Unified Information System of the Social Sphere

The Verkhovna Rada on September 18 adopted in full as a law the Cabinet of Ministers’ draft bill 11377 on the Unified Information System of the Social Sphere.

During the voting in the plenary hall, some amendments were taken into account, while others were rejected. The final version will be known after the text is signed by the Speaker.

In the version recommended for adoption by the relevant committee of the Rada, the draft bill has the following content.

The Unified Information System of the Social Sphere will facilitate electronic data exchange in real-time with a number of registers, including:

• The Unified State Register of Conscripts, Military Personnel, and Reservists (“Oberih”)
• The Electronic Healthcare System (EHCS)
• The Demographic Register
• The Register of Vehicles
• The Register of Individual Taxpayers
• The Automated System of Enforcement Proceedings
• The System for Monitoring Persons, Vehicles, and Goods Crossing the State Border of Ukraine
• The State Register of Civil Status Acts of Citizens
• The State Register of Property Rights to Real Estate
• The State Land Cadastre
• The Unified Judicial Information and Communication System
• other electronic information resources, etc.
