SOF destroyed a Russian S-400 air defence system in Kaluga region worth 1.2 billion dollars

Operators of the Special Operations Forces destroyed another Russian S-400 "Triumph" air defense system. The strike on the launch unit and radar station was carried out in the Kaluga region.

This was reported by the SOF. The cost of one such system is 1.2 billion dollars.

As it became known, the Special Operations Forces struck a Russian S-400 "Triumph" air defense system.

"On the night of September 5, a group of SOF of the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted special reconnaissance, during which they detected an S-400 ’Triumph’ air defense system in the Kaluga region. After receiving visual confirmation of the target, the operators transmitted the data for a fire strike," the statement noted.

The special forces did not delay the strike to destroy the target for long.

"As a result of successful actions, strike drones of the Special Operations Forces hit one launch unit and a radar station of the Russian S-400 ’Triumph’ air defense system," the SOF reported.

The effectiveness of this drone attack by Ukrainian warriors is extremely high: according to open sources, the cost of such a system is approximately 1.2 billion dollars.
