In Chernihiv region, a 13-year-old girl took her own life

Yesterday evening, the police received information about the discovery of a 13-year-old girl without signs of life – she had taken her own life by hanging at her place of residence.

This was reported by the police of Chernihiv region.

Investigative and operational teams from the Main Directorate of the National Police in Chernihiv region and Police Department No. 1 (Mena), as well as officers from the juvenile prevention unit of Koriukivka district police department, arrived at the scene.

Information about this incident has been entered into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (with a note of suicide).

Law enforcement officers are investigating all the circumstances of the tragic incident within the framework of the pre-trial investigation.
