RF struck the residential sector of Sumy: houses damaged

Russian military struck the residential sector of the city of Sumy, damaging houses.

This was reported by the head of the Sumy City Military Administration, Serhiy Kryvosheyenko, on Telegram.

"Around 4:20, the enemy struck, presumably with a GAB, the residential sector in the Stetskivka elder district," the message states.

As a result of the attack, residential buildings were damaged, though the number and extent of the damages are not specified.

The Military Administration warned of possible interruptions in electricity and gas supply.

According to preliminary information from local authorities, there were no casualties.

Air raid alerts due to the launch of enemy UAVs on the night of September 26 were announced several times in various districts of the Sumy region. Specifically, in the Shostka, Romny, Konotop, Okhtyrka, and Sumy districts.
