Military personnel are allowed to transfer between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard: the Cabinet of Ministers has simplified the procedure

The Cabinet of Ministers, upon the submission of the Ministry of Defence, has adopted a decision to simplify the procedure for transferring military personnel to other units.

This was reported by the Minister of Defence Denys Shmyhal on Telegram.

"We are regulating the procedure for commanders to respond to personnel transfers. We are minimizing cases of ignoring or delaying decisions," the Minister stated.

The government’s decision simplifies the procedure for transferring military personnel between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard, and vice versa.

"We are providing the opportunity to submit an electronic report for a change of duty station through the ’Army+’ application. We are working on further steps to simplify and expedite transfers of military personnel between units," the Minister noted.

According to the decision of the Ministry of Defence, unit commanders, at the initiative of military personnel, are obligated to implement a personnel decision within no more than 72 hours from the moment it is received.

If commanders have objections, they must provide a substantiated response to the Personnel Center of the Armed Forces within 48 hours. They will be able to submit a petition to cancel the transfer, but only with reasoned explanations.

An order for relocation may be canceled by the Personnel Center of the Armed Forces if requirements are violated or if the military personnel commit a criminal offense.

The resolution of disputed issues will be handled by a special group.
