The Russian Federation launched 86 attack drones at Ukraine: air defence destroyed 53 of them

On the night of October 2, the Russian army launched 86 strike drones at Ukraine. Air defense neutralized 53 of them. There were hits from 31 strike UAVs in 6 locations.

This was reported by the Air Forces. "On the night of October 2, the enemy attacked with 86 strike UAVs of the Shahed type, ’Herbera,’ and drones of other types from the directions: Bryansk, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo - RF," they said.

The aerial attack was countered by aviation, electronic warfare units, and unmanned systems, as well as mobile fire teams of the Ukrainian Defence Forces. According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 53 enemy Shahed, Herbera, and other types of UAVs in the north, south, and east of the country.

The attack continues, with several enemy UAVs in the airspace as of the morning of October 2.
