Russia hit Lozova in Kharkiv region with an air bomb for the first time: there are injured persons

This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Telegram.

Law enforcement officers reported that the strike occurred around 17:40. The enemy attacked a private residential sector, resulting in damage to houses and farm buildings.

According to the prosecutor’s office, five people were affected by the shelling, although it was previously reported that six people were injured.

"A man sustained injuries and wounds, and an 80-year-old resident experienced a severe stress reaction. The necessary medical assistance is currently being provided to the injured," the statement reads.

The post also noted that, preliminarily, the enemy struck the city with a GAB released from temporarily occupied Ukrainian territory.

"The type and flight range of the bomb are being established. This is the first instance of a guided aerial bomb being used on the city of Lozova. Additional details will be provided after all investigative and expert actions are completed," the publication states.

Later, the prosecutor’s office specified that it was a jet-powered aerial bomb.

"A strike on the city of Lozova was carried out with a new modification of the guided aerial bomb UMPB-5R (jet type), which covered a distance of approximately 130 km," law enforcement officials clarified.

They also informed that a pre-trial investigation has been initiated on the grounds of committing a war crime.
