Large-scale accident near Zhytomyr: Kyiv-Chop highway partially blocked, there are casualties

The international highway Kyiv-Chop near Zhytomyr is partially closed due to a serious accident with casualties.

This was reported on the Telegram channel of the Patrol Police of Ukraine.

"Attention to drivers. A traffic accident occurred at the 129 km mark of the M-06 Kyiv – Chop highway, near the village of Hlybochytsia, with preliminary information indicating casualties," the patrol police reported.

It is noted that traffic is partially restricted in the direction of Rivne: a temporary detour has been organized through a section of the road where repair works are being carried out. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.

"Dear road users, please be understanding of the temporary inconveniences, plan your routes in advance taking into account the restrictions, and strictly adhere to traffic rules," the police added.
