The USA may provide Ukraine with long-range Tomahawk missiles as pressure on Putin, — MP

Trump is ready to provide Ukraine with «Tomahawks» if sanctions prove ineffective and Russia does not agree to end the war.

This was reported by Member of Parliament Yehor Chernyev (Servant of the People faction).

In his opinion, the U.S. President is using the possibility of transferring these long-range missiles as a tool to pressure Putin.

Earlier, Chernyev had already expressed a similar opinion and suggested that the process of transferring the missiles could take several months.

Trump himself explained the refusal to transfer "Tomahawks" by his desire to avoid escalation of the conflict, as well as the need for training Ukrainian military personnel to handle the missiles, which could take six months. At the same time, the U.S. has no intention of launching them on Russian territory independently.
