Russia is preparing a nighttime strike on Ukraine involving up to 500 drones

According to reports from monitoring channels, Russia is likely planning to carry out an extremely large-scale attack during the night, involving up to 500 strike unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) across the territory of Ukraine.

The figure of 500 drones is exceptionally high, and if confirmed, this could be one of the largest drone attacks, if not the largest, throughout the entire full-scale war.

Monitoring resources report that drone launches have already taken place, and the movement of aerial targets is currently being recorded.

 Ukrainian intelligence had previously reported that Russia is working on creating conditions for the simultaneous launch of a large number of UAVs (up to 500 units) to overload Ukraine’s air defense system.

Due to the potential threat, air raid alerts have been announced in regions of Ukraine.

Official sources (Ukrainian Air Force, Regional Military Administrations) have not yet confirmed the exact number of launched drones but urge citizens not to ignore air raid signals and to stay in shelters or follow the "two walls" rule.
