Massive nighttime attack: hundreds of UAVs flew towards Russia, air defence shot down 98 drones
UAVs reached Voronezh, Rostov, Tula, Lipetsk, Ryazan, Kursk, and Kaluga regions.
On the night of November 1, hundreds of drones were flying to attack Russia. In the Moscow region, power outages began due to the UAV attack.
Since the evening, the sounds of our UAVs buzzing could be heard in the Belgorod region, while Russian media claim there was a "record number of Ukrainian UAVs."
"Due to an emergency situation on the power grids, electricity supply has been cut off. Work is currently underway to repair the damage. We apologize for any inconvenience!" – write Telegram channels.
The Russian Ministry of Defence stated in the morning that air defence shot down 98 drones over Russian territory.
Power went out in Zhukovsky near Moscow.
"45 UAVs were allegedly shot down over the Belgorod region, 12 UAVs – over the Samara region, 11 drones – over the Moscow region, including 6 drones heading towards Moscow," – the report states.
It is known that drones reached Voronezh, Rostov, Tula, Lipetsk, Ryazan, Kursk, and Kaluga regions.
