The Center for Countering Disinformation has debunked a fake about "women’s units" of the AFU in Kupyansk

Russian propaganda continues to spread fakes about alleged "women’s units" in Ukraine, attempting to create panic and the impression of mass mobilization.

This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation on the Telegram network.

Russian propaganda resources are spreading disinformation claiming that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have allegedly sent "women’s units" to Kupyansk due to a shortage of men at the front.

In particular, it is claimed that seven female servicemen abandoned their positions. However, no evidence is provided to support these claims.

Experts note that this fake is part of a broader Russian campaign aimed at creating the impression of "mass mobilization of women" and increasing panic among citizens.

Such reports are designed to exert psychological pressure and attempt to demoralize the population, but there is no real basis for these claims.

In reality, there are no initiatives in Ukraine regarding the conscription of women into military service.

Previously, the Center for Countering Disinformation has already debunked similar fakes, including those about "mandatory training of women for mobilization" and fabricated positions of "commanders’ advisors on gender training."

All these claims are completely fabricated and have no connection to the real plans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Reports about "women’s units" in Kupyansk are a typical example of information warfare, where the main goal is to create panic and mislead the audience.

The Ukrainian army continues to operate under standard mobilization procedures and does not involve women in mandatory service at the front.
