Air defence forces destroy 33 out of 37 "’Shahed" at night

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

“At night, the Russian occupiers once again attacked Ukraine, using 37 Shahed-type UAVs . The Ukrainian air defence forces and means destroyed 33 of these attack UAVs,” the message says.

In turn, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces clarified that the enemy attacked the south and east of Ukraine, using one S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile, two X-59 guided aircraft missiles and 37 Shahed-type attack UAVs (drone launch area - Balaklava, Crimea).

Anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force, mobile fire groups, the Ukrainian Defence Forces, and electronic warfare equipment were involved in repelling the air attack.

"As a result of combat operations, 33 "shaheds" were shot down in Kirovohrad, Odesa, Kherson, Mykolaiv and Kharkiv regions," the statement said.
