Ukraine and the Czech Republic began negotiations on a security agreement

Representatives of Ukraine and the Czech Republic began negotiations on April 18 to conclude a bilateral security agreement.

The Office of the President reported this.

The Ukrainian group at the current round of negotiations was headed by Deputy Chairman of the OP Ihor Zhovkva, and the Czech side was represented by David Konetsky, Director General for Security and Multilateral Relations of the Czech Foreign Ministry.

The parties exchanged views on the future content of the agreement, in particular, strengthening cooperation in the field of the military-industrial complex, and agreed on a schedule for further negotiations for an early signing at the leader level.
