Situation at the front: 62 military clashes were recorded at the front during the day

The Russian Federation’s large-scale armed aggression against our state continues for seven hundred and eighty-nine days. During the day, 62 military clashes were recorded.

This is stated in the evening report of the General Staff.

Shelling of Ukraine

In total, the enemy launched 4 missile and 58 air strikes, carried out 100 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas.

The situation in the North

The operational situation in the Volyn and Polissya sectors remained unchanged. No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.

In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi sectors, the enemy maintains military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shells populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. More than 10 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Oleksiyivka, Miropilske, and Stepok in Sumy region.

Combat actions in the East

In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions. He conducted an air strike near Senkove, Kharkiv region. More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Sinkivka, Petropavlivka and Kotlyarivka in Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 14 attacks in the areas of Novoyehorivka, Serebryanske forestry in Luhansk region and Terny and Torske in Donetsk region. Artillery and mortar shelling hit more than 10 localities, including Nevske in Luhansk region and Terny, Yampolivka, Torske in Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut sector, our troops repelled 12 attacks in the areas of Zolotarivka, Spirne, Vyymka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Klishchiyivka and Andriivka in Donetsk region, where the enemy was trying to improve its tactical position. The enemy conducted an air strike near Bilohorivka, Luhansk region. About 20 localities came under artillery and mortar fire, including Hryhorivka, Kalynivka, Chasiv Yar and Stupochky in Donetsk Oblast.

In the Avdiivka sector, our defenders repelled 10 attacks in the areas of Novobakhmutivka, Semenivka, Umanske, Yasnobrodivka and Netaylove in Donetsk Oblast, where the enemy, supported by air power, tried to force our units out of their positions. The enemy also carried out air strikes near the settlements of Novokalynove, Berdychi, Oleksandropil, Semenivka and Illinka in Donetsk Oblast. More than 10 localities came under artillery and mortar fire, including Ocheretino, Novobakhmutivka and Umanske in Donetsk region.

In the Novopavlivsk sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka and Urozhayne in Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defences of our troops 12 times. The enemy launched air strikes near the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Novomykhailivka and Urozhayne in Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Krasnohorivka, Kostyantynivka and Vuhledar in Donetsk Oblast.

Situation in the South

In the Orikhovsk sector, the enemy, with the support of aviation, attacked the positions of our defenders once near Staromayorsk, Donetsk region. He conducted an air strike in the area of Mala Tokmachka, Zaporizhzhya region. About 15 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Chervone, Novodanilivka and Pyatikhatky in Zaporizhzhya region.

In the Kherson sector, the enemy does not abandon its intention to push our units out of their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Thus, during the day, he made 4 unsuccessful attacks on the positions of our troops near the village of Krynky, Kherson region. The enemy conducted air strikes near the settlements of Novoberislav and Beryslav in the Kherson region. About 20 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Olgivka, Lvov, Ivanivka, Tokarivka in the Kherson region.

During the day, Defence Forces aviation carried out strikes on 2 anti-aircraft missile systems and 13 areas where enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated.

The missile force units hit 1 control point, 2 air defense systems and 1 area where enemy personnel were concentrated.
