MP: Verkhovna Rada wants to increase penalties for violation of the Law on mobilisation

People’s Deputy Maxym Buzhanskyi reports that they want to increase fines for violating the Law on Mobilization.

The Law Enforcement Committee of the Verkhovna Rada considered amendments to the second reading of the bill increasing penalties for violating the law on mobilization:

The upper threshold of fines is proposed to be increased to 25,500 hryvnia (previously it was proposed to be up to 22,500).

For officials and legal entities, the fine is from 34,000 to 59,500 hryvnia.

An administrative fine is imposed within a year, but no later than three months from the date of discovery of the offense. A fine will not be issued if the TRC can obtain information about the conscript itself through state registers.
