Explosions were heard in Kharkiv this morning

“The morning in Kharkiv begins with the sound of an explosion,” the mayor wrote at 06:51.

In addition, the Kharkiv region police reported several explosions in the city. Law enforcement agencies also called on local residents to stay in shelters and follow the “two walls” rules.

“Explosions can be heard in Kharkiv. Do not leave cover until the air raid warning signal goes off. Report hits from enemy shells and victims to the special police line 102,” the regional police said in a statement .

Prior to this, the command of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced that they had detected the activity of enemy tactical aviation in the waters of the Sea of Azov and in the eastern direction.

The military later warned of a ballistic threat from the east.
