For the first time, SSU Head Vasyl Malyuk officially confirmed that Sea Baby drones are equipped with Grad systems. This makes it possible to effectively shell the occupiers from the sea.

Malyuk noted during the UNITED24 summit that the SSU first used the Sea Baby drone, equipped with Grad multiple launch rocket systems, in December 2023. Channel 24 writes about this.

The head of the SSU noted that the use of MLRS on Sea Baby drones is “a new milestone in the history of naval battles.”

After all, the use of MLRS on drones significantly increases the list of potential targets at sea. In particular, the Russian positions on the Kinburn Spit were recently struck.

Malyuk added that Sea Baby is a multi-purpose platform that can also perform remote mining. In this way, the defenders have already hit 4 enemy ships.

“We are successfully adapting various types of weapons to our surface drones. We will not disclose all the details so as not to give the enemy the opportunity to prepare.
