Deputy Brahar purchased a Lexus during the war

Verkhovna Rada deputy from Servant of the People Yevhen Brahar, who 4 years ago advised a pensioner to sell her dog to pay utility bills, bought himself a Lexus during a full-scale war.

He noted this in his income statement for 2023.

Bragar purchased the car on May 3, 2022. The people’s deputy chose the Lexus CT 200h (2012). Brahar paid 280 thousand hryvnia for it.

Brahar said he refused to bribe police officers after his car was stopped by law enforcement officers. He also said that he was stopped allegedly because he was under the influence of drugs. The deputy denied this.

Subsequently, the police officers who stopped Brahar’s car were reprimanded, and their boss was demoted.

In February 2020, deputy Brahar advised a pensioner from the Kirovohrad region to sell her dog in order to pay debts on utility bills.
