Poland’s closure of entry and exit for Ukrainian trucks was illegal, - Ministry of Infrastructure

According to Deputy Minister Serhiy Derkach, carriers do not need any permits to cross the border with Poland. Ukraine has appealed to the Polish Ministry of Infrastructure and the European Commission.

The agreement on the liberalization of freight transport between Ukraine and the EU came into force on the day of signing. That is, still June 20th. There is a transition period until July 10, allowing carriers to adapt to the new rules.
