Blinken: Transfer of F-16s to Ukraine from Denmark and the Netherlands is already happening

Denmark and the Netherlands have begun transferring F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, which will help defend against Russian aggression.

This was reported with reference to the speech of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken at the NATO summit.

“I am pleased to announce that as we speak, F-16s are being transferred (to Ukraine - ed.), from Denmark, from the Netherlands. And these aircraft will fly in Ukrainian skies this summer,” Blinken said.

According to him, the planes are being transferred to make sure that Ukraine can continue to effectively defend itself against Russian aggression.
