The occupiers attacked Ukraine with four missiles and five shaheds: Air defence shoots down all drones
On the night of August 4, the Ukrainian air defence forces shot down all five Russian kamikaze drones of the Shahed-136/131 type. At the same time, the enemy launched four missile attacks.
The Kharkiv and Poltava regions came under attack. This was announced by the commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk.
He noted that the invaders hit the Kharkiv region with two S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles, and the Poltava region - houses with X-59 guided aircraft missiles from the airspace of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. The enemy launched strike UAVs from Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russian Federation.
The forces and means of mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defence Forces and electronic warfare units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down all five “martyrs” in the Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad and Zaporizhzhya regions.
The invaders struck the Kharkiv region after 23:00 on Saturday. There were no reports of casualties. Damage data is being verified.
According to the Poltava RMA, around midnight the Russian Federation attacked the Poltava region, and air defense was operating there. In particular, explosions were heard in the Myrhorod region. Preliminarily, there were no hits or injuries to civilian infrastructure.
