Mahuchikh won gold for Ukraine in the high jump at the 2024 Olympics

Ukrainian track and field athlete Yaroslava Mahuchikh won a gold medal at the Olympic Games in Paris. She won the high jump competition with a score of 2 m. Another medal for Ukraine - bronze - was won by Iryna Herashchenko.

Until recently, Australian Nikola Olislagers competed with Mahuchi for gold, but she lost to the Ukrainian.

Yaroslava Mahuchikh is 22 years old, she comes from Dnipro. At the previous Olympic Games in Tokyo, she won a bronze medal, and approached the competition as the current world champion and world record holder.

This is already the second gold medal for Ukraine. On August 3, Ukrainian fencers led by Olha Kharlan won gold for the Ukrainian team.
