A loud explosion was heard in Odesa during the alarm

An explosion was heard in Odesa on Wednesday evening, August 14. By this time, an air raid alert had been declared in the region.

The explosion was reported by Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov. In turn, the Ukrainian Air Force warned of the threat of Russians using ballistic weapons.

"An explosion was heard in the city! Stay in safe places," Trukhanov noted.

Also, according to him, there is information about a repeated launch of ballistics.

The Air Force warned of the threat of the use of ballistic weapons by the occupiers from Crimea and a high-speed target in the direction of the Odesa region.

At 19:58 the all clear air raid alarm sounded, which had been in effect since 19:30. There is currently no information about the explosion – it may have been the work of air defence.
