Zelenskyy: New combined strike by Russians claimed lives of 4 civilians

Four people were killed and 16 were injured as a result of another massive Russian strike on Ukraine on the night and morning of August 27.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this on Telegram.

"The rescue operation is continuing at the sites where debris hit and fell in the regions of Ukraine that were subjected to a Russian attack this night. All services are involved, and the rubble is being cleared.

Unfortunately, despite the effective work of our air defense, four people were killed and 16 were injured. My condolences to the families and friends of the victims."

Zelenskyy recalled that the Russians used more than 90 air targets against civilians and infrastructure: 81 "shaheds", as well as cruise, ballistic and aeroballistic missiles.

"We will definitely respond to Russia for this and all other attacks. Crimes against humanity cannot be committed with impunity," the president concluded.
