At least 55 people were injured in the Russian strike on Kharkiv. The city has set up an operational headquarters to receive statements from victims, a forensic laboratory is operating, and damaged houses are being guarded by police, said Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko.
"Today, Russian terrorists launched a series of attacks on Kharkiv. The enemy’s targets were civilian objects, civilians, children... at least 55 people have been injured by this minute," Klymenko noted.
According to him, all emergency services are working on the ground: rescuers, police officers, as well as psychologists of the State Emergency Service. We are grateful to utility workers and volunteers for their active participation in rescue and liquidation work.
An operational headquarters has been set up to accept statements from victims, a forensic laboratory is operating, and police guarded houses have been damaged. Door-to-door visits are also being conducted to ensure that all victims are provided with the necessary assistance.
"This is yet another brutal war crime by Russia, which is being carefully documented. Sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims," the minister concluded.
