Syrskyi visited the units operating in Sumy and Kursk regions

Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi visited military units operating in Sumy region and in the Kursk region of the aggressor state Russia. Following the visit, he noted that the situation remains under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, despite the enemy’s attempts to seize the initiative.

Syrskyi reported about the frontline visit on the official social media pages. He also posted relevant photos.

"I worked in military parts and units operating in the Sumy region and Kursk region of the Russian Federation, where Ukrainian soldiers bravely and effectively perform combat tasks. Despite all the enemy’s efforts to seize the initiative, the situation remains under our control," he said.

Syrskyi also reported that he worked directly at brigade command posts, listened to the brigade commanders and their proposals, and assisted in resolving urgent issues.

Considering the analysis of the situation, the Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine made "several decisions aimed at preempting enemy actions and inflicting maximum losses on them."

"Despite the advantage of the occupiers in manpower and equipment, the skill and professionalism of the Ukrainian army do not allow the Russian aggressor to achieve success," he emphasized.

Syrskyi also expressed great gratitude to Ukrainian soldiers, sergeants, and officers "for courage, resilience, and unceasing service."
