Some Ukrainians will receive up to an additional 21,000 hryvnias in subsidies for winter heating

This is stated in the Telegram channel of the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.

As Shmyhal noted, in October, 1.4 billion hryvnias were already allocated to Ukrainians for housing subsidies and benefits.

"In total, about 29.6 billion hryvnias of subsidies and benefits were allocated and paid out to Ukrainians over the 10 months of this year. A simplified procedure for subsidy application has been implemented, and there is also automatic reassignment for those who received a subsidy during the heating season," he added.

In addition, people who heat their homes with coal, wood, or other solid fuels will receive an additional payment of up to 21,000 hryvnias.

As mentioned above, this program will cover around 500,000 families.
