Situation on the front: In the Kurakhove direction the Defence Forces repelled 51 attacks

During the past day, the Defence Forces of Ukraine engaged in 173 combat clashes with Russian occupation forces in various sectors of the front. The fiercest fighting took place near Kurakhove, where the enemy launched more than half a hundred attacks.

During this period, the aggressor country’s forces shelled Ukrainian positions and settlements over 3,000 times. The situation at the front as of the morning of November 3 was reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to updated information, on Saturday, military criminals launched one missile and 69 airstrikes along the contact line, firing one missile and dropping 114 guided aerial bombs. Out of more than three thousand Russian shellings, 112 were from multiple launch rocket systems.

In particular, the aggressor carried out airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Yunakivka, Zhuravka, Basivka in the Sumy region; Slatyne, Kozacha Lopan, Mali Prokhody, Pishchane, Synkivka, Holubivka, Terni in the Kharkiv region; Toretsk, Kurakhove, Illinka, Uspenivka, Bohoyavlenka, Maksymivka, Velyka Novosilka in the Donetsk region; Lobkove, Novodarivka, Mala Tokmachka, Yur’kivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defence Forces delivered strikes on six areas of personnel, weaponry, and military equipment concentration, one artillery system on a firing position, and two ammunition depots of the invaders.

On the Kharkiv direction front, with aviation support, the enemy launched eight assaults in the Vovchansk area. On the Kupiansk direction, there were 13 attacks, with the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelling offensive actions of the occupiers near Pishchane, Zahryzove, Petropavlivka, Zelenyi Hai, Kruhliaivka, Kolisnykivka, and Lozova.

On the Lyman direction, the RF Armed Forces attacked 14 times, attempting to break into our defenses near Hrekivka, Terni, Yampilivka, Torske, and in the Serebrianskyi Forest. Additionally, the enemy actively employed aviation, launching 30 unguided missiles and dropping six guided aerial bombs.

On the Siversk direction, during the day, the invaders conducted seven offensive actions in the areas of Ivano-Dariivka and Vyiimka; on the Kramatorsk direction – attacked once in the area of Predtechyne; on the Toretsk direction – with aviation support, carried out eight attacks near Toretsk (mainly) and Shcherbinivka.

On the Pokrovsk direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces stopped 23 offensive actions by the aggressor towards the settlements of Mykolaivka, Promin, Krutyi Yar, Selydove, Sukha Balka, Myroliubivka, Sukhoi Yar, Novohrodivka. On the Kurakhove direction, the Defense Forces repelled 51 attacks: the occupiers tried most actively to advance in the areas of Illinka, Novoselydivka, Novodmytrivka, Hostre, Maksymilianivka, Antonivka, Kostiantynivka, Kreminna Balka, and Katerynivka.

On the Vremivka direction, the enemy made 12 assaults on our positions in the area of Trudove and Maksymivka; actively using aviation, the occupiers attacked near Novoandrivka, Robotyne, and Mala Tokmachka on the Orikhiv direction. On the Pridneprovsk direction, our troops repelled three attacks in the areas of Kozachi Laheri, Dnipryany, and Kozatskyi Island, where the enemy was unsuccessful.

On the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of the formation of offensive groups by the RF Armed Forces have been detected. At the border with the Chernihiv and Sumy regions, Russian troops from the territory of the Russian Federation are using artillery and aviation against Ukrainian settlements.

The operation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region of Russia continues. Our warriors inflict significant losses on the occupying forces in manpower and equipment and actively undermine the enemy’s offensive potential in the rear.
